LaQuitcha (La’Kēēsha) Lanay Washington, a native of Charleston, SC, has been making people laugh all her life. She was raised in a Christian home, and was taught the foundational doctrines of the Pentecostal Belief.
The Bible tells us to train a child in the way they shall go, and when they are old they will not depart from it. Well, the teachings LaQuitcha received were not in vain. After years of running from her true calling, she accepted the fact that God had both a purpose and a plan for her life that would glorify Him. Proverbs 17:22 tells us; “A joyful heart is good medicine, but a broken spirit dries up the bones.”

Lady Q has been awarded the PrazyeFactor People’s Choice Awards in 2014, and 2018, for Best Christian Comedian! She was an Honoree for the Community Service Award, given by the Gospels Choice Awards in July of 2019. Lady Q has opened for Comedians such as, Rodney Perry, Marcus D. Wiley, Small Fry, and has performed with Bruce Bruce.
